The “D” Word—this is a must-see!

Shown at Sundance Film Festival this year, it’s a documentary made by Robert Redford’s son, James.  The movie is about James’ son Dylan and the challenges he has faced with dyslexia and the challenges their family has faced.  Featured in the film are Drs. Sally and Bennett Shaywitz, as well as a number of notable dyslexics – Sir Richard Branson, Charles Shwab, and Gavin Newsom (Lt. Gov of California.)

Finally a movie that gives an honest, but positive spin on Dyslexia. We love working with our Dyslexic patients because as this movie says, “they are creative, hard-working and more than interesting.”
