This class includes a little bit of everything! It is divided into two sections--ninety minutes for art and ninety minutes for introduction to Spanish.
The art section is taught by Sarah Maestas, who holds a B.S. in art from Westminster College. Students will have the chance to learn and experiment with acrylics, watercolors, pastels, scratchboard, and charcoal. They will create clay sculptures, learn the correct art terminology and practice basic drawing technique.
FUN AND EDUCATIONAL! The Spanish section is taught by Begonya Garcia, native speaker from Spain. Children will learn basic noun vocabulary, verb conjugation, and practice speaking in simple conversational situations. They will thoroughly enjoy learning songs and games in Spanish. By summer’s end, they will be ‘muy feliz’ that you signed them up!
